Techstars Startup Weekend Tbilisi 2022, co-organized by Startup Georgia and Techstars, was a high-energy, 54-hour event that united Georgia’s most promising innovators. Spanning from December 16-18, 2022, this vibrant event offered participants the unique opportunity to think, work, and build like a startup. The weekend, hosted at GITA Tech-Park and the Parliament of Georgia, was a powerhouse of creativity and collaboration, where participants pitched ideas, formed teams, built solutions, and presented their startups to a panel of industry experts.
On the first day, participants pitched their ideas, voted on the most promising concepts, and formed teams around these ideas. With support from Techstars mentors and expert facilitators, teams quickly assembled and prepared to tackle the challenges ahead.
Day two was dedicated to transforming ideas into tangible solutions. Participants immersed themselves in hands-on learning, practicing innovative methodologies, and refining their prototypes.
The final day culminated in a demo session at the Parliament of Georgia, where teams showcased their startups to a panel of judges from the business and Techstars networks. This demo session was a testament to the participants' hard work and creativity, highlighting the innovative spirit of Georgian entrepreneurs.
Two startups emerged victorious from the numerous teams at Techstars Startup Weekend Tbilisi 2022. Both were awarded digital perks valued at 50,000 GEL.
